NEHSA is a non-profit organization run by and for physically disabled persons who want to enjoy active and independent lives through participation in sports. In 1994 NEHSA expanded their programs to include ski instruction for developmentally disabled persons. The program's goals are to encourage positive attitudes, social opportunities and personal growth through the challenges that participation in outdoor sports and recreation offers.
